Interns

Friends House Moscow provides internships as opportunities for Quaker service and experience of work in a Friends environment. Interns give support to the staff and visitors to FHM.

We have openings for one or two interns at a time, for terms of three months to one year. If you speak or are studying Russian, are committed to your own spiritual growth and are familiar with the faith and practice of Friends, have good hospitality and communication skills, and are ready to tackle a variety of tasks, both interesting and mundane, in a collegial team, please contact us. We want to hear from you whether or not you have a specific period of availability in mind.

For more information or to indicate your interest, contact Bonnie Grotjahn.

Staff

From time to time, Friends House Moscow conducts searches for Russian-speaking Friends (members or attenders) to fill staff positions in Moscow.

FHM staff operate and maintain the FHM office, work with interns, participate in outreach programming, and maintain relationships with partner organizations and projects. Desired qualities include: commitment to Friends values and spirituality; collegial work style; compatibility with realities of life in Moscow; good hospitality and communication skills.

For more information, to nominate a potential staff member, or to indicate your own interest in serving, contact Bonnie Grotjahn.

Russian
Speakers

Are you a Friend (member or attender with a commitment to Friends faith and practice) who speaks or is studying Russian? Whether or not you have a current interest in serving with Friends House Moscow, we want to know about you! We would very much like to know how many Friends have abilities and interests in the Russian language. Please contact Bonnie Grotjahn if we can add you to our too-short list of Russian-speaking Quakers.
